We stayed overnight at this lovely little site as we were on our way elsewhere. It is so peaceful and relaxing with lots of trees and bushes around. Plenty of space between units so you are not intruding on anyone else. ||The pitches are level and the whole site is very clean and tidy. Some of the pitches are quite big which is great as we have quite a large motor home. ||||There is a decent size fishing lake and a good dog walk or two. ||||The lady who looked after our booking is very pleasant and accommodating, we had to move to a longer pitch as the allocated one was a bit too short. This was no trouble at all and we were soon sorted out. ||||I cannot comment on the wash room or lavatories as we have our own facilities on board but I get the feeling these would be spotless. ||I would certainly recommend this site for anyone trying to “ get away from it all”||We felt it was perfect.

We spent 2 nights in the warm and cosy shepherds hut on the Bank Holiday weekend. Everything was spotless including communal toilet block. Can’t wait to visit again. Crockery and cutlery supplied as well as kettle fridge and microwave. Take your own disposable BBQ and bedding.

A hour looking through Trivago came up with the glamping thing. late deal as last minute thought to go away for the night, so glad we did. The shepherds hut is large inside, tea mashing gear supplied, clean inside,cute, quaint, romantic... shower and toilet about 100yds away ( take a bucket for the night time) , seperate clean modern shower/toilet/sink units ,a fantastic camp site in its own right, clean tidy well set up with a fishing lake across the lane, nice walk around the lake and down the field, dog friendly also..cant praise them enough, just go and see for yourselves...as for us....we'll be back...

Absolutely love it here. We’ve come every year and stayed in the shepherds huts ever since my kids were little. Also stayed in the cottage and fished lake. The hosts are amazing and everything is clean and tidy.

Myself and my partner stayed in 1 of the shepherds huts for 1 night and to be honest it was an experience for both of us... There is electric but no running water and the toilet is a couple of minutes walk away which also houses the showers as well... The owner is so sweet and friendly with cakes waiting for us upon arrival... The hut was spotless and the whole site is spotless and well kept... Peace and quiet ( just missed the TV) if I'm honest... Only downside was which I hasten to add was not the fault of the site was LateRooms.com was that you have to take your own bedding which we were unaware of till after we had booked but paid the £20 to have that supplied for us which did make it quite an expensive night but we did enjoy ourselves and so that is the main thing and had an absolutely fantastic sleep...

Excellent location for Kings Lynn and Thetford Forest. Couldn’t fault the site whatsoever. All the requirements and more for an excellent camping weekend. All the facilities were immaculate, I couldn’t recommend this place anymore.
