We had a fabulous 3 night stay here in August. The suites are set in lovely quiet countryside near Goodwood. We were in the Madgwick Suite which was perfect for the two of us and had everything we needed. The bedroom upstairs was light and sunny and had a nice leafy outlook. The twin beds were really comfortable and we relished the spotless and top quality linen. We slept so well and it was so nice and quiet. The whole suite has been renovated to a very high standard and I loved the bath, very welcome after a long days walk The owners were very friendly and helpful and gave us great suggestions on where to eat and things to do. The pub in the village does great food as does the pub in the nearby village of Singleton. We did some lovely walks and also spent a day at West Wittering beach which is only 20 minutes away. The whole area around there is beautiful and we only wish we’d had more time to explore. Can’t recommend highly enough and we hope to come back!

The Pump House at the Woodstock Suites is very damp and poorly ventilated, especially the bathroom. It was difficult to get rid of the thick condensation even with the windows open. We had to keep the door shut to prevent the damp smell overwhelming the rest of the space.||Although damp the property was detached and private, in reasonable decorative order with WIFI and a television. It would benefit from some new crokery which is a little dated and the bathroom could do with some hooks for towels. ||There is parking on site and the area is reasonably quiet. We were only once disturbed by chainsaws early one morning.

A great location in the English village of Charlton. We actually stayed in what was called the pump house which is it's own building. The sound in the morning from the birds is fantastic. The room was comfortable with an incredible bed and a wonderful bathtub. The village itself is quite scenic. There is a pub restaurant within walking distance called The Fox Goes Free.

we stayed here for our time at the goodwood festival of speed and it turned out to be a very nice apartment. we had a kitchenette and living area with french doors to a patio, two bedrooms (one a bit small for two beds, but manageable) and with pump toiletries of soap, conditioner in the shower and soap at the sink. very nice stay, but some bedrooms are next to other suites and with paper thin walls (it sounded like)...you can hear every word from other guests next door to you

We had a great stay in Fordwater. We were welcomed and informed of key information by our host but otherwise left to our own devices (which is exactly what we were hoping for). The owner was always very courteous, even when clearly dealing with a lot during a thunderstorm the first night we were there. The accommodation had a lounge and nice kitchenette downstairs and a bed and separate bathroom upstairs. Everything was nicely done and we'll maintained and the suites themselves are really well located for local walks, West Dean Botanical Gardens and the Weald and Downland Living Museum. We had a great stay and would certainly recommend it, particularly if you're keen to keep as social distanced as possible.

We stayed for one night in the Madjwick suite. Nicely laid out with a small kitchen area and sitting room downstairs and 2 singles plus bathroom upstairs.|We didn’t meet any owners, but arrival details were emailed to us, and entry was very straightforward.|There is plenty of parking available and just 100m away is a very good pub- The Fox goes Free. This is a simple 100 m walk away, down a quiet village street.|The heating system was very efficient, and we were easily able to control it. |Our only criticisms were that there was no soap in the kitchen, and even upstairs, the only soap was in a fixed dispenser in the shower, making soap usage at the sink rather inconvenient. |Plenty of walks available direct from the accommodation, and we were able to walk up to the Trundle, the Iron Age hill fort that overlooks Goodwood and to the coast beyond.|Overall, this was an excellent stay, and we would certainly use this place again, next time we visit Chichester.

Booked 3 properties for 6 of us for a motor event at goodwood in 2021, and loved it so much we booked 4 properties for 8 of us this year!||||Once again we had a wonderful stay, although a slightly better equipped kitchen would be nice. It'd be nice to be able to bung a pizza in the oven after a long day!||||Bed very comfortable, pressure and temperature of the water in the bathroom is spot on. Everything you could need for a slightly upmarket stay when in the area, and walking distance to a fabulous pub. As a bonus, if you time it right, you can see the steam engines rolling through the village from the doorstep.||||Only small issue this year was that there was a dance night at Goodwood on the Friday, and our neighbours had an afterparty at theirs with some other guests. Cue loud house music thudding, people shrieking, and someone throwing up outside until the early hours. Not only that, it was a hot day so their windows were flung open and as were ours, so we heard everything. I really hoped the owners would stop it but I think everyone eventually went to bed on their own accord at around 2am. That being said - I'm confident that this was a one off as its not the type of venue for parties really. More a quiet hamlet to relax and unwind, and enjoy the facilities in the local area.||||We hope to see you again in 2023!
