The fabrics are a very good selection especially for those who are new to sewing, but the staff honestly just make it an unbearable experience. So rude and make it obvious they want you out of the store. Every question is too much of an ask and it should essentially become a self service fabric shop at the rate it’s going.

I've been visiting this fabric warehouse for 14 years, and every time I come away with more than I intended to buy, I've spent way more at fabric shops with poorer selections and been disappointed, only to return here. There is a huge selection of fabrics at excellent prices, as someone mentioned, if the fabric is dirty they will give you extra at little or no extra cost (I'm gonna wash it anyway) and I have never experienced the bad customer service mentioned on some of the reviews. I recommend going without a time frame in mind, I could, and do spend hours browsing, I love it.

Visited this morning for some interfacing and some fabrics. No idea what I wanted and felt a bit intimidated at first by the plastic sheeting at the front of the store! Felt like I was entering a warehouse, which basically I was.
As others have said there is a lot of fabric, just had to wander and see if I could find what I wanted. No pressure to buy and staff were helpful when I spoke to them. Great prices on fabrics, if you can find the price, and a good range of patterns and materials. Will definitely be visiting again x

I love this fabric shop. It has an amazing range of fabrics that change all the time. Yes, it can appear slightly chaotic - but we have to accept it for what it is - a discount, end-of-line warehouse (not John Lewis fabrics department!) In any case, it's all compensated for by the competitive pricing and the friendly and relaxed customer service. Easy to reach with a million buses and London Fields Overground Station, but also with a small parking area for drivers.

This little gem runs on magic... serioisly WHATEVER fabric you need, wander around looking for it, begin to feel disappointed then voila! There it will be hiding, behind a roll of polyester lace... everytime i visit i get whatvi need! Served by the most beautiful souls who know their fabrics ...
