We stayed here on our Hadrian's Wall walk. The room was large with a comfortable bed, a comfy chair and a fairly small shower room. Breakfast was served from 7am and cooked items could be pre-ordered the evening before. There were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. The only thing to note is that the house is in quite a busy road so if you are sensitive to traffic noise, you will hear some.||The house is next door to a co-op and there are several pubs and cafe's in the village which was also well served by local buses and has a train station with direct connections into Hexham and Newcastle. ||Would definitely stay here again if out that way.

Lovely! We stayed here one night when walking Hadrian’s Wall and Ian and Jayne could not have been more accommodating. Very comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Thank you!

Stayed with a group of friends undertaking the Hadrian's wall walk. Ian and Jayne were wonderful hosts. Ian kindly collected us and dropped us back the next day to/from Heddon-on-the-wall. The breakfast was our favourite of the week. Beautiful location and plenty of pubs to quench the thirst after a long day's walk.

Beautiful B&B, exceptional breakfast! I was walking the Hadrian's Wall Trail and I had to revise all my plan half way through because of some health issues. Jayne and Ian have been fantastic in accommodating for my plan changes, communicating with me daily and supporting my found raise.

Lovely couple, nothing too much trouble, very clean and plush. The shower was hot and powerful in our room, we had the choice to use a well stocked bathroom with a deep bath which was very welcome after 23 miles. |Fabulous breakfast and a packed lunch option if you are out for the day, we ran Hadrian's Wall so only had 1 night here. would highly recommend.

A beautiful place to stay with all comforts and clean and quiet. Jayne and are such friendly and helpful hosts and Ian was happy to pick me up from Hadrian walk path and drop me off the next day at any time I wanted. |Breakfast was fantastic and the dining room is quaint with lovely Country English style.

Ian was a fantastic host and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is great, walking distance to several places to eat and a co-op is literally next-door!
