Very welcoming and a beautiful location with walks along the river Severn and views of the steam trains passing by as you sit watching the chickens and the robot manicuring the lawns which fall away to the edge of the river. Very restful after a long drive. Rooms very attractive and comfortable. Amanda booked us in to the local pub restaurant which was also excellent. We all slept well and really enjoyed the well-being breakfasts though Amanda made a special bacon and eggs for my husband who likes something more traditional.

Worralls Grove was a beautiful old house overlooking the River Severn. We stayed in the Earl Grey suite, and after seeing the pictures, thought that the small lounge attached was a bit darker than we expected. The bedroom faced east and looked dark but when the sun had risen over the hill on that side of the house in the morning it was very pleasant. We had a heatwave while we stayed at Worralls Grove and that room with its thick walls facing east was so cool to come back to after our wanderings that we were thankful that we had booked it. The bed itself was so comfortable. The ensuite had plenty of room, and there was a view of the river through the window. We loved the gorgeous breakfast room with the sumptuous breakfasts, with so much to choose from that everyone was satisfied, also the decking outside there where we sat overlooking the garden sloping down to the river. It was good seeing the hens who supplied our lovely eggs that we ate at breakfast, and the chicks. Above all, our host, Amanda, was all that we expected her to be, having seen all the other marvellous reviews. She made it such a pleasure being there.

I can’t think of anything that would have made our recent stay any better. From the point of booking to the lovely message at the end of our stay when we returned home there was nothing but warmth, thoughtfulness and a genuine desire to please. Worralls is in a wonderful location - very beautiful and quiet. The house is characterful and very tastefully decorated. Every possible thing we might need was there in the room, from black out blinds to a torch, ear plugs, iron and board, a selection of teas and coffees. Amanda was a warm, welcoming and attentive hostess and very informative about the local area. Breakfast was a wonderful spread of fruit, cereals, cheeses etc and a variety of cooked items. We enjoyed watching the hens exploring the grounds alongside the robotic lawn mower. The surrounding area is just beautiful with plenty of places to visit, with the advantage of not being overrun or spoiled by tourism. (We came from Cornwall and Canterbury!). Overall this was just the perfect break for us both and we feel lucky to have discovered this little gem and would love to return.

We have stayed with Amanda at Worralls Grove many times, and our most recent visit was as perfect as ever. Worralls is the most relaxing place to get away too, nestled on the bank of beautiful River Severn and looking out across to the Wyre Forest. The rooms are beautifully finished, with every comfort you could ask for, and the breakfast menu is delicious, with so much choice. We can’t wait to come back again soon.

Beautiful accommodation both inside and out. Beds soft and facilities great and plentiful. Amanda was a great host with a great knowledge of the local area. She even arranged and joined us to go horse riding. Food was great with a good variety to meet all needs.
