Such a lovely little place. Quiet but with amenities nearby. Bed is so comfy and the room is clean. Staff are really lovely, slight mix up with room otherwise would be a 5* all round. 10 year old is very happy with the biscuits provided ha. Would stay again

We had booked into Findon Rest but just a few hours before we were due to arrive we were told we were being moved to Worthing Rest, which was completely unacceptable but unfortunately the shortness of notification of change made it impossible for us to do anything about it. We were told there was a problem with the rooms at Findon Rest, but this was not true as we saw lights on in all the rooms in the evenings during our stay.|In Worthing Rest there was a steep staircase, which was difficult for us as we are in our 80s. The miniscule shower room had a miniature wash hand basin which could only be filled to a maximum depth of 2 inches. There was nowhere to hang bath towels, nowhere to put anything. Folding door couldn't be closed from inside shower room. Nowhere to hang anything in bedroom, only two hooks behind the door. There were various holes in the walls where things had been removed and not repaired. The bedroom door was very hard to lock. Bedside lights not working. Last occupants dirty clothes in the chest of drawers!

This booking was last minute for the Brighton 2024 Marathon. The price of the hotel is reasonable but the state of it was kind of shocking. Me and my family had rooms 7,8,9 and 10. 9 and 10 were fairly clean. But 7 and 8 were filthy. There was hair in the shower. The bed had hair all over it and stains on the cover, which i called and got them replaced. Which she was lovely and understanding. However the ‘clean’ bedsheets still had a few stains on them. The floor was covered in crumbs, hair, god knows what (didn’t even look like they bothered to hoover). There was also a sofa in room 7 which was smothered in stains. The room altogether felt unclean and untidy. Which is just basic maintenance. In the end i ended up buying cleaning products and bedsheets (you don’t know who stayed before you). I also felt weird about the front door as any stranger could just come in and after seeing the review on someone being robbed i wasn’t surprised. Yes it was only £55 a night but no excuse for the uncleanliness of the room.

My husband and I decided we needed a short break away so booked last minute. We were recommended to stay here by friends who also enjoyed their stay. I just wanted to say what a great experience we had from start to finish. Rooms were clean and inviting, location was perfect and it was very reasonably priced. We had a lovely short break child free. ||Such a lovely stay in a beautiful place! We will definitely come again, thank you ☺️

Pleasantly surprised with the quality for the price. Easy check in and good location with parking. The bed and pillows were very comfortable to watch Netflix and enjoy a good cuppa of tea. A quite area to get a good nights sleep. |Would stay again.

Stayed here for 3 nights for a little getaway … was disappointed to be honest wasn’t clean at all pretty sure I left it cleaner then I found it. Nearly came home early on night 2 because I just felt so grubby being there . Location wise it’s very out the way. I just don’t think it was worth the price I paid for 3 nights primer inn does it better !

There was hair as what I can only describe as trimmed beard hair all around the bathroom sink .. simple things like dusting hadn’t been done.

Booked this for weeks work. Was perfect for me to be honest. ||||Lovely location, really cosy room. Great pubs within a stones throw. Curry house also very close. Free parking..||||I asked to check in early which lucy had no problem with. Will stay again!!

Was disappointed about the cleanliness, hairs in shower and dirty mugs, very dusty all around could do with a spruce up and general tidiness also no signs to put up to say you need room serviced. Towels not up to scratch very worn and tired. Shower room not fit for purpose
