I cannot praise this surgery enough! I came here for nearly 8 months every other day for wound checks and dressing changes post surgery with the excellent nursing team. All of the nurses are exemplary, caring and a credit to their profession!

Reception were also excellent in helping me book appointments and assisted hugely with booking ahead so I had peace of mind that I was going to be seen. On the handful of times I needed a nurse to check my surgical wound due to complications they managed to squeeze me in same day every time.

My recent experience at the surgery on the morning 6th of March. I had to take a urine sample and book an appointment for my mother. The receptionist was abrupt, unfriendly and I was made to feel I was interrupting her. No greeting or care whatsoever. Please be mindful as some patients are vulnerable. Manners and a smile goes a long way. Very poor customer service, she shouldn’t be front of reception.

The best local surgery by far. I always manage to get an appointment within a reasonable timeline and the docs and nurses are the most kind and knowledgeable people around. Never once have I had an “off” experience here….thank you for looking after me and mine.

this surgery used to be OK, now it is all gaslighting pathents, talking to them in a rude snd unprofessional manner,they will not help you whatsoever, also ,even if you are bed bound ,like I am,in severe pain, with no help or support whatsoever, they will not,under any circumstances, see you at home,they are content to fob you off ,and watch you suffer, they don't care what harm ,or distress you are caused,so long as they don't have to do any work,or be inconvenienced in any way. also,beware of thier clinical pharmacist they employ, especially if you are diabetic,because she stopped my insulin, without informing me, on a bank holiday weekend, and caused me hospital admission. this was well before the covid ,anyway.these gp s here say they are too busy or they will phone u back they never do .their so called complaints policy is a pathetic joke,because they deal with thier own complaints, so on effect, there is no independent place to make a complaint. they try as hard as possible to sop u accessing healthcare, but if u challenge them in the slightest, u will soon find yourself to blame and without a gp. seriously they have really deteriorated in the last 12 months, no clue why, I eish want to give 0 stars but I can't.

I have been using this GP for 10 years and i honestly think it’s one of the best GP’s. Waiting times are super quick, i usually do get an appointment on the same day. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I never had a bad experience with them at all. Thank you Wrythe Green Surgery

The loveliest doctor's receptionists I've ever encountered and compassionate doctors and nurses who take their time and have holisitic approach, in a surgery which utilises technology to make it easier to book and manage your appointments. The only point to raise is the appointements often overrun but this is due to the high level of care given to everyone.

I've had an appointment today with Dr Cross. I believe that to say Thanks wouldn't be enough. I had no opportunity to see my local GP for about 2 years (if not longer) and it wasn't possible to book in advance as they ,,have on available time slots" no matter when I've called. Thanks to Dr Cross for so professional approach and for looking into my health issues which I've gained over the last 5 years. I would highly recommend Wrythe Green Surgery (and Dr Cross in particular) to anyone who is struggling to see their local (Musgrave) GP and who need a professional advice and help.
