Had a weekend away with a group of lads. 2 rounds of golf, overnight stay, 3-course meal and breakfast. Golf course, although shorter than some is challenging with plenty of water hazards, only slight issue is the greens could be in better condition. Hotel room was clean and beds where tidy. Had 2 rounds and an overnight stay here in September 23. The course is very nice. Greens were slow day one but had had a torrent of rain the day before. Day 2 they were much better as the greenkeepers had managed to cut them.
The hotel was also very nice - spotlessly clean. Food was lovely, both evening meal and breakfast.
Overall would definitely recommend. A nice gentle course with no hills whatsoever

1st time playing this course with friends, which tests us weekend players! Unfortunately, our round encountered greens, which had air rating holes, making them a bit lumpy, all needing a good roll to flatten them out, obviously work in progress. Hopefully, the next round this will be sorted. Making it a pleasure to play.

Group of 8 gents (Hcaps varied 1- 36) staying at the Waterfront Hotel for two nights, dinner bed and breakfast with three rounds of golf - booked through an agency. Overall, good value considering quality of hotel. Includes lesiure club (not spa) with pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. Food pretty decent - good buffet breakfast. Bar prices on the expensive side - no pint for less that £5.50! Nice outside terrace that looks across the lake and down the 18th. Pro shop not fancy but has all the essentials.
The course is pleasant, interesting, short par threes and not long overall. Very flat and easy to walk. Benefit from playing it more than once as some holes are quirky and you need to know where you're going.
Quality of course, especially greens and bunkers, were lacking and needs some tlc but very playable conditions on the main. We had some glorious weather, which always helps. Shame the driving range is closed for repair and pro shop not optimistic it will be open anytime soon. Not many buggies available so book in advance. Personally, wouldn't bother as so short and flat, very easy walk with carry or trolley (hire for £5). Despite plenty of water around, not a particulalry hard golf course and our higher handicappers enjoyed the challenge and scored well.
Well set-up for group bookings with the nicely presented hotel and would recommend for a society or similar. If they improve the quality of the greens and tidy up some bits of the course, could be really good!

We went to Wyboston Lakes on corporate golf day and it was a fabulous experience. The course was very wet even though it was a beautiful day and hadn’t been that wet that week so it obviously holds a lot of water naturally which will be amazing in a long hot dry summer, but does mean you need to watch out for the odd puddle and you can hit a bit of a dead spot with a ball occasionally.

The Gravel Pit is a nice area to have for the 19th with a good selection of beers including premium brands and non alcoholic ones.

Great course for us mid to high handicappers who created our own little tournament. Some challenging holes where course management is needed over distance. Hotel was very nice and the food was great. Can't fault the service. We had a power cut during our stay which meant we couldn't have our dinner here but they sorted us with lunch the next day.
