Wow wow wow the cardamom bun was incredible - perfect flavour and texture. We passed by at around 8:30pm (on our way back from the brewery!) and were surprised to see this place was still open - not only that but they had loads of products still available and still tasting really fresh. Really friendly and helpful staff. Don’t pass this by if you’re visiting Bakewell - everything we bought was great but the cardamom bun was truly amazing!

Really great bread and pastries made authenticity without all the additives in mass produced products. I particularly love the rye and sunflower seed loaf. Can't recommend highly enough.

Wonderful bakery that sells their products at the door. We had coffee as well and sat on the wall opposite. Fantastic quality food.

Nice foccacia. A loaf of sourdough is £7 - it looked overdone, so didn't buy one. The person who served us had no gloves but was touching their phone, hair and glasses then handling and tapping the loaves which was very off putting and left us feeling doubtful about the overall hygiene of the place.

An authentic artisan bakery. Fabulous sourdough including a walnut one! Delicious pastries too. It's a good job I don't live nearby!

The Christmas Stollen was amazing. We were slightly sceptical about it as first thinking it might be dry like a panatone but it was quite the opposite. Firm yet soft melt-in-your-mouth inside, cherry and chocolate, moist and lightly sweetened. Word soon spread and most people actually went back for second or third helpings. Great value and a wonderful cake, I will definately get another next year.

Small bakery making a delicious selection of cakes and pastries. Our particular favourites are the focaccia, potato bread, almond croissant and cardamon bins! They now have a coffee machine too, so you can get a takeaway coffee. The coffees are excellent.
