Food was luke warm when arrived. I've cooked better myself. You could Stand a spoon up in the curry, the chowmein had no taste, the egg foo yung..well you can't go wrong with eggs but still tasteless.
It was either reheated or left overs from the day before.
In a nutshell 28 quid of sheer shite. Will not be ordering again!

Salt and pepper chips were super hot and crispy. I’m not sure what they do different but they’re the best ones I’ve had. And the menu seems very affordable.

The worst chinese curry I've had in a long time. Literally in a full portion, 4 miserly slices of chicken and 4/5 small King prawns. Really stingy, I'd rather they put the price up and actually provided a reasonable meal. In addition only 4 pieces of prawn toast usually 6-8. Awful, won't be going back bur nice cheerful service.

My wife is very picky when it comes to takeaways but Wylam garden is a great Chinese restaurant offering a takeaway service.
Food always comes hot and very friendly staff when you call.
Overall a great place with a excellent food star hygiene rating.

WARNING - CASH ONLY
It would have been good to know when I rang up and placed my order....! This is 2023 and not everyone carries cash!!! No apology either. And don't follow Google, you are taken to the back door FFS - sort that out as well..... After driving round Wylam to get cash, it was almost 40mins after I'd ordered, food was cold and congealed when it eventually made to table.....

This takeaway shop(Wylam Garden, 41 Jackson Road, Wylam, NE41 8EL) has been selling stinky chicken to customers since mid-August, including shredded chicken, Sweet & Sour chicken, lemon chicken, chicken noodles, chicken used in fried noodles, chicken curry, chicken with black pepper and so on. The chicken has a very serious odor, and you can smell it about 2 meters away. These chickens were bought cheaply from other places by the boss. Since the first time I bought them, I have told the boss about these chickens. Can not be used, there is a very serious odor, but the boss only said that it is only the smell of chicken and can continue to be used. I believe that many customers have already eaten the chicken and found that there is a problem with the chicken.
