Our family of four (2 adults, 2 children) stayed at Store Cottage for two months whilst we waited for our new home to be ready.

We feel so very fortunate to have stayed in this beautiful cottage in such lovely grounds.

Great location to Yarm and Yarm station. It's very peaceful and Janice and Geoff are just the nicest people who really do make you feel very welcome and are there to help if you need them.

The cottage had everything we needed to live there comfortably for two months, plenty of storage, beds were comfy, kitchen had all the utensils needed etc, and there is a beautiful view into the courtyard from the living area that I shall miss very much with my morning coffee.

I would highly recommend Yarm Cottages.

We've just spent a wonderful 4 nights in the Mallard Cottage. Janice and Geoff are just lovely and provide a warm welcome.||The cottage itself is very spacious and has lots of storage. We had MORE than enough space for four of us staying there.||The location was ideal for us as we needed to be close to Conyers school and Yarm itself.||We cooked at the cottage every evening and the kitchen had all the required utensils needed.||It really was a home from home. Very cosy, peaceful and relaxing.||Thank you Janice and Geoff!

We stayed at The Store at Yarm cottages Worsol Road and I would highly recommend. The cottage was clean and very well equipped. It's in a peaceful location. Everything you need is here. You can walk to Yarm High Street in half an hour or so and it's a pleasant walk. Geoff and Jan are lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome, such a nice couple and nothing is too much bother. Yarm and the surrounding areas are worth a visit. Thanks again Geoff and Jan x

Yarm cottages is a wonderful place to stay and to get away from it all. The cottage we stayed in (Store) is a beautiful space and ideal for two couples or a family with some children. ||||The kitchen is well-stocked, and although a few other cottages are on site, it's incredibly quiet and peaceful. Geoff and Jan are great hosts and were available for anything we needed from laundry soap to local tips on where to go for country walks.||||I almost hesitate to say more good things in this review as I don't want too many people to find this hidden gem! We hope to come back again soon!

We stayed at Yarm Cottages (The Store) for 3 months whilst waiting for our new house to be ready. We were sad to leave as it was everything we could have wanted, quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Geoff and Jan were the ideal hosts, invariably friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. We would without hesitation stay there again!

In short: the best place to stay in the area - excellent quality all round, relaxed, cosy, tranquil. 5 stars.

In length, not to be confused with other accommodation/cottages! .. I've tried them all and this is head and shoulders above everything in a 50 mile radius. Located off the main road (so easy access).. Peaceful gardens, views (look out for owls). Each cottage is very tastefully decorated ensuing quality and comfort. Very well stocked (everything you need) and very spacious. Have stayed a couple times.. Will definitely be staying again. Very highly recommended.

I am very happy to see this place has so many good reviews because it really does deserve it. A very well located, cosy, quality finish, good price, excellent service - place to stay. ||Have stayed here twice and each time have been very impressed with absolutely everything, from the very friendly and welcoming hosts - to the standard and detail and comfort of each cottage.||keep an eye out for owls at night! ||I will return, because having researched (and stayed) in other places in the area - nothing beats this place. 5* amazing!

We had family visiting from Scotland, and also Gateshead, so we needed additional beds. Checked out the YARM Cottages web site which is excellent and made the booking over the phone. Janice and Geoff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Our family checked in and were shown all the facilities. The next day started with comments such as "the bed is the most comfortable I've slept in for years " and " what a beautiful place " Have to agree as we went to visit on the Sunday and it is as I said, A Hiden Gem. The layout, the decor and furnishings are all first class.
