A straight -up pub by the River Severn doing nice pub food and a decent beer selection.
Nice outdoor seating on a sunny day.
We stopped for a midday dinner on the way back from the Coalport China Museum. The food was well presented and tasty. Good value too.
My Holden's Mild wasn't fresh but I suspect not much of it gets drunk, as the woman behind the bar confirmed. Still, a pint is a pint and should be in good fettle. I moved on to the bitter, which was in better heart.
Good parking and a nice looking pub.

This is a pub (closes early 9.30 p.m) with rooms above acessed via steep outside steps providing a basic service. Rooms are clean with pleasant decor, we were in 'Maid Marion' a small twin room, adequate en suite, tiny shower cubicle, no room to put wash things by the sink & even less space in shower. The kitchen in the pub provides a basic service & seems to be open on an 'ad hoc' basis, don't rely on the website for accurate info you need to ask at the bar if & when they are cooking. It's a good walk into Ironbridge so suggest walking over Jackfield Bridge to Black Swan for good evening meals but don't expect a drink back at the pub on your return as last orders are by 9.30 when they 'cash up', you may even find the door locked! Breakfast is ordered in advance & your hot drinks are ready & cooling on your table by the time you requested, so don't be late & don't expect any refills, although the cooked breakfast is good.|Some staff are friendly & helpful while others seem hurried, distracted & almost disinterested.

The seems to be confusion when kitchen opens and close. It closed one night 7.45pm next day i was told thats only Wednesday and that Thursday its open 5 till 9pm so we went at 8. 15 and kitchen closed chef gone this quiet a common thing in this area even if you phone up to check times such a shame people won't come if there is a risk of not getting food. One night wr decide after going elsewhere to eat we stop for drink on the way home it was 10pm the pub had closed its just no way to run a business people won't come on the off chance the plsce might be open. The staff are friendly and customers nice to really nice place could done so much better poor management sorry guys but service was great and it is of no fault of the staff.

Unfortunately we did not have the best experience on our visit , very limited menu options , absolutely no atmosphere at all apart from sounds from radio , decorative items not working , no table service , food , though basic Sunday lunch , I had to send mine to be microwaved as cold. as was my 3 other guests food , we left soon after & travelled to Half Moon for sweets & coffee , totally the right decision , I personally would have asked for a refund , the positive 1* was the young lady behind the bar , so disappointing outing

Sticky tables ! Popped in Saturday the 21st June with some friends,we all had the golden glow ale ,all of us did not like it ,I went in the thatchers gold cider which was much better, our arms were stuck to the tables ! Don't know which cleaner they use (if any) but the tables were sticky as hell ! Go back ? Probably not ,bring back Tony Jones from broseley...

I stayed here one night whilst walking in the area. |On the main road in the valley, but my room was at the back so no noise from the road or bars.|The room was a little dated but had all the facilities I needed. A good shower. |Friendly proprietors.|My cooked breakfast was adequate. |This hotel is better value than others in town.

Booked two nights for an event in Telford International Centre. Lovely welcome - and great food. The rooms were very clean and had en-suite. Superb breakfast - they did an early one for us on the two days, so we could get to the centre for 9.oo AM - and that was very kind of them. Very quiet place to stay in lovely surroundings. Would 100% book this next time the event is on. Thank you to the team at the Inn - you were all amazing.
