Brilliant Sunday Roast last weekend! Option of starters and desserts were really good. The Roast itself was plentiful, tasty and well presented, couldn’t fault it! The brownie for dessert was also lovely and very well presented. Couldn’t recommend more for a great Sunday Roast locally!

We went for breakfast with the elves event, which was amazing for the children and was very well planned out.

If they do this again next year I would highly recommend it for people with children.

And the setting is absolutely beautiful being on Dartmoor itself, the views and drive there are really quite tranquil.

Went there for afternoon tea. Very disappointed. Poor selection of sandwich fillings - more cheese and pickle than anything else - still with crusts on. Everything else was shop bought - scones, blueberry muffins, chocolate traybake, cubes of Madeira cake. No special 'fancy cakes' as you would expect. The strawberry 'jam' had no pieces of strawberries in it. Not worth anything like the £21 it cost.

Just called in for a quick meal. As usual it was all freshly cooked and piping hot, a lovely meal.

had a roast there today very poor the veg wasn’t cook it was borderline raw , 3 small potatoes, watery gravy! the desert tasted ok but was cold so won’t be back

Went here for a Sunday roast and wow the food was amazing and you get a really good size portion for a very decent price. The view is also lovely to will get photos next time I got distracted by nom NOMS lol x

Really disappointed as the last time we went it was stunning but this time NOT GOOD, thin watery gravy, dry carrots, tough beef, cauliflower cheese watery , roast potatoes not roasted as so pale , the Eaton mess was served on a side plate , a shop bought meringue nest with cream and frozen mixed fruit, chocolate brownie was just sponge, I complained explaining the problems and the reply was, well yes we have had 3 chefs in the past year and this one is trying to put his own mark on it. the problem is badly cooked food, dinner ladies could do a better job. Hence won't be going back .
