We stayed here for a weekend party the kitchen is very spacious and lots of pots etc. there is a separate room with a tv etc the bunk beds are quite small so if your long it will be uncomfortable. Lots of nice walks in the area

The place was spotless, great facilities and the owners lovely. We were quite loud in the evenings but there were no problems regarding this. All the beds have clean sheets and all the toilets have toilet roll, soap etc. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Just spent the weekend in Sheen Bunkhouse. Great location. Footpaths all around and a fantastic pub, The Staffordshire Knott, 200 meters down the road serving great food. The bunkhouse was immaculately clean and well equipped. Fresh clean bedding and hot showers. There is also a great loung with comfy sofas and a tv, not that we had time to look at it too busy walking, kayaking and cooking up a stir in the kitchen. Great place to stay with a large group as it has a large loung, kitchen and deck area for socialising. I would recommend this barn. Thanks Jean and your great cleaner.

Booked for Friday and Saturday night as a family with lots of friends for £500. We had a lovely time. Bedding provided for 14 beds. You can sleep a few in the front room too and we had a camper on the drive so 18 of us in total. Very easy booking and great walks/bike rides all around. Recommend Thors cave just down the road and the honesty farm shop 50 yards on.

A basic place, but all you need as a base for walking in this part of the Peaks. Excellent value for money. Celebrating a birthday, and we did party til v late. Made loads of noise but no neighbour complaints. Spent all of our time in the kitchen diner, which seated us comfortably. Beware of headroom. A decent meal at the Staffordshire Knot pub 0.3 miles down the road. However you will need to book ahead as they only open when diners are dining.

We rented out the whole hostel for a weekend. There is plenty of room in the lounge for 14 people and enough room in the kitchen also. As both are seperate from the sleeping areas theres no disturbances if people are up late! Great facilites and ample parking! Definately recommened for any type of group needing a place to kip/hang around in. There's also loads of room for a bbq and space on the patio on picnic tables.

I booked the bunkhouse out for a training event with a new team of staff. It is simple but comfortable, with plenty of space for at least 10 people. The bunks have very good mattresses, and it is quiet at night, the shower rooms are clean and spacious, and the kitchen is well equipped (it even has a hot water urn for endless tea and coffee, which was very welcome!). There is no phone signal or internet (unless you stand out on the road) but for the type of stay we wanted, where everyone was focused on just the people with them in the room, this was absolutely perfect. The owners were lovely, and were flexible with our departure time. When we arrived one of the shower heads was broken, we notified them and within the hour it was being fixed. Plenty of countryside around for lovely walks (with plenty of guides and reading material provided in the common room for planning such things), Buxton is only a short drive away, and although the pub wasn't open when we visited, it looks like it would be a great place to spend the evening. Hope to return again next year!

Just returned from a 3 night break as part of a large group of friends (inc children ) & have only positive things to say about the Bunk House & its owners . Great surroundings & easy to get to many places of interest in Buxton & its neighbours. A nice warm environment & plenty of walks nearby. A decent kitchen so no need to travel out to eat if you don't want to & Gas barbecue on the patio area. Owners were very happy to help when called upon . Thanks for a funtastic stay
