Had a seasonal pitch here for 8 or so months and we just love it.
We visited quite a few sites before we settled on here and you couldn’t even compare.
Facilities here are pristine and pitches are more than generous, pitch fees are reasonable compared to what we looked at especially with the facilities provided.
There’s clothes washing/drying facilities, lots of area info, dog walks etc and my favourite thing has to be the ice lolly freezer ?
All in all it’s a lovely place to be and means we get to use our van so much more, what’s not to like!?

We have just left after 2 nights. A lovely well maintained site, with fabulous amenities. Peter and Gaynor are very welcoming and friendly. A lot of work has gone Into making the site perfect and the extra little touches make it (a hairdryer, air freshener, dog poop bags, water at all pitches)
We would highly recommend and will be back again. Thank you for a lovely stay. Excellent work.

Just returned home from a last minute weekend at this fantastic, well thought out site. We arrived and went straight to our pre allocated (via email) pitch and we were quickly greeted by the friendly and helpful owners.
The site is very clean and well equipped beyond my expectations actually, immaculate shower facilities, clothes wash facilities, high standard water waste traps and an excellent dog wash that is both powerful and warm.
The pitches are very spacious and I like how they are marked off with little hedges for privacy. Water and electric is shared with a supply in the middle of each two pitches and I like the little touch of dog poop bags and bins placed around site.
The adjacent fields are fantastic for dog walking and my little pup was in her element...We will be back soon 🙂

Booking was quick and easy. Communication from owners prior to arrival was first class. From the minute we arrived at the gate, we knew we had discovered a fantastic, go to site. The site is well laid out and immaculate. The pitch was large and had electric, water and drainage. The toilet facilities were always clean and there was plenty of hot water in the showers whenever we used them. The site was quiet and peaceful set in a rural location surrounded by fields but with a village about a mile away. Met by the owners who are super friendly and helpful. This will certainly be the first of many visits here for us as it is close enough as a bolt hole for a short trip away. Was very reasonably priced too.Next year this will become adults only and there will be no tents. Loved the astro turf section of the pitch which helps to keep the inside of the van cleaner.

We have had a seasonal pitch on South York since last September, and we love it. Beautifully kept site, with great facilities if needed. Very friendly site for people as well as their dog. |Lovely quiet site with gorgeous sunrise and stunning sunsets. Been on seasonal sites before, but wouldn’t want to move from here. We are very happy indeed. Keep up the amazing work Pete and Gaynor.

Absolutely fantastic!! Every credit to the owners. Pitches lovely and spacious. Well thought out layout just perfect! Facilities spotless. Cannot fault a thing. Most impressed with how caters for dogs and the poo bag dispensers on every post is a fabulous idea - well done. Will be back soon!

I stayed at this site for 7 nights over the August bank holidays period. What a fantastic site this is. It had only been open 3 weeks at that time, but the owners were so professional and welcoming, you would have thought they had been open for years. All the pitches have been well thought out, all close to the amenity block and great sizes. Even the smallest will accommodate most size tents. Tents are in a separate section of the site, each pitch has EHU which is metered but at a very reasonable rate. There is also a water tap accessible to every pitch. The amenity block has great showers and loos, very clean, also disabled facilities and even a dog washing facility. Also available is a washing machine which is £2 per load which includes washing powder. These owners have literally thought of every detail. I was camping on my own here but met some lovely people and felt very safe here. Will definitely be coming back next season as still have lots of places to see and do in the area.
