Ideal location for visiting Richmond and close to A1M roundabout about a mile away. Very friendly hostess and immaculate room. A very nice quiet location with gardens and plenty of free secluded parking. Felt very safe. Property is up for sale and with a thriving business with multiple self contained rooms in probably old stable block an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a business and beautiful home in a great location

I booked directly with Christine and found her communications excellent. I arrived very very tired after a 200 mile drive on a very hot day . Clearly I looked as tired as I felt and was immediately offered a gin and tonic ( fabulous first impression 😃 ) . I had mistakenly parked at the front of the house and was redirected to the back of the house . I was amazed by this beautiful oasis I found . The garden is beautiful and so peaceful , yet you are just a stones throw from the busy A1 ( a mile and a half , so no road noise ) . Christine is friendly and welcoming , you immediately feel relaxed . The rooms are lovely ( I got a nose into more than 1 ) . Immaculately clean and a great sleep was had . Each room has its own little sitting out area and own door , so you can come and go as you please . ||Breakfast was served in the main house which is beautifully decorated and again you are made so welcome . Great choices available and my poached eggs were perfectly round , always the sign of a good cook to me . ||I met John at breakfast and , just like his wife , delightful company . ||As I said in my introduction a little unexpected oasis to break the long journey from the South of England to Glasgow . I have already booked for my return journey .

A gem of a place.
We stayed here at the end of July and had the best welcome and hospitality from Christine and John. We asked if
a slightly earlier breakfast might be possible because of an event we were participating in the following morning and Christine could not have been more helpful! Comfy room, lovely shower, peaceful location and a great breakfast. You will not find many better bed and breakfasts in the Richmond area. Rob & Jo

We stayed for 10 nights on our family holiday. A great location for exploring the North Yorkshire Dales - we explored from Keld to Kilnsey. Richmond itself also had a lot to offer.||The rooms are extremely clean and fresh. The garden is beautiful and there is a big field which the children enjoyed running around and playing frizbee, football and cricket on.||Christine is the perfect hostess and breakfasts were amazing. She even held the baby for us while we ate!

Lovely place to stay, clean, tidy, warm and friendly. Very relaxing place. Dog friendly with lovely grounds to walk them. Christine is so welcoming and the breakfast is amazing in a lovely quirky dining room. Booked again for next month and can’t wait.

Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Lovely breakfast and no effort spared to make us comfortable. Christine and John made us very welcome, a real home from home. Even the dog didn’t want to leave.

Very friendly owner Christine and John. There is a friendly atmosphere . A Motorbike friendly place to stay. Great cooked breakfast which does fill you up. Nice surroundings. Is peaceful and easy to find.
Great level of service. Nicely furnished rooms. A must place to stay if your visiting the area.
My wife and my self are planning to visit the area next year and will only go if we only stay here. See you next year Christine and John oh and cats.

This is such a lovely B&B with rooms arranged around a pretty courtyard. Christine is so friendly and welcoming. It felt like home from home. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We will definitely be staying here again.
