Liked: If your looking for a very calming and at nature site you will love this place. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff, nothing is to much trouble for them. Excellent fishing on the lake and a very peaceful quiet relaxed atmosphere. A total haven for dragonfly with a mix of quirky old machinery and cabins that nature has taken over. Only stayed 1 night as a last trip before I sell my pod but will definitely become regular once campervan takes it place. Big thank you to the owners as these type of wildlife immersive sites are becoming more hard to find.

Disliked: absolutely rank shower toilet block ! no way have they been cleaned for months ! bins full in toilets disgusting ! no hand wash in gents. Never seen so much stuff/ furniture stuffed in double decker buses, containers and caravans. everyone to their own but spoilt it for me not what you want to see all over a country side site.

This is scrapyard for old caravans and buses
Showers not cleaned in months all mouldy and holes in ceiling
Don’t let the pictures fool you
We stayed on site for 30 mins and left I’m just glad i only lost one nights booking fees
A family turned up and pitched opposite us and emptied the back of a pickup on the grass and got there 2 boys to smash all the rubbish up and hide it in the bushes behind there caravan
Unfortunately we didn’t read the reviews but we certainly will from now on

Liked: Beautiful country side, very peaceful site.
The site it’s self needs to be totally refurbished, only facilities were ladies and gents toilets / showers which are not upto today’s standards.

Disliked: No outside washing area, toilets need to be refurbished
Nothing has changed in 14 years, it’s a field in farm.

Liked: Quietness no noise at all. Met by friendly owner Clean showers and toilets. Nice walks and villages . Friendly cats that came and visited us owner recommended pub down road black horse. Walked to it and had a drink. Nice friendly staff. Restaurant looked nice but we didn't stop for food. Good TV and phone signal

First time visiting this site and was very impressed, wasn't sure what to expect with the glamping tents but was definitely above our expectations. Very quiet place which was ideal with having the dog with us. Lovely sitting area outside. Toilet and shower block fully functioning and clean with equipment to clean after you use for the next camper. Lake itself was very quiet but managed to catch 2 fish with very little fishing time. Location is great as visiting the surrounding villages within a short driving distance. Owners were lovely, very chatty (not keeping you from going tho) and helped with any queries. Will definitely be back again and will be definitely recommending to people for a quick quiet getaway.
