What a treat! A very warm welcome awaits you at the Bird. From check in until departure. The staff are friendly, attentive & professional (shout out to James) . The pleasant quirky decor is both colourful & intriguing, & there is so much to look at & enjoy right from the front door. Our bedroom was bright & airy with a lovely view. The space was clean & cosy with high end furnishings, plush bedding & lovely thick bathroom towels. There was a personalised welcome card waiting to greet us (which I thought was a lovely touch) & a choice of complimentary tea/coffee & water all provided in our room. The downstairs Bar & the beautiful bright outside area was also clean & inviting. The fresh & imaginative flare of the designer showed through here too adding a hint of Mardi Gras to the choice of comfortable furniture & making the experience relaxing & enjoyable. Our Evening Meal & the two Breakfasts that we enjoyed here were also made special by the attentive staff & the delicious food on offer. On checkout we received a little bag of chocolate which was just another lovely thing that topped off our visit to The Bird ! Thank you all for a lovely stay with you!

We booked this last minute and had a good night sleep with a wonderful breakfast. Great for walking around Bath centre. It was a little tricky right after our holiday with bigger bags to take up three flights of stairs so next time if we stay it will be with overnight bags only. Although we were a couple, I noticed the staff did a great job of looking after families with younger children.

This was a last minute trip for us, great weather last weekend and we wanted to do something special, and this place caught our eye. Minutes later we had a Roomy King room booked and were really looking forward to the stay.||Parking is extremely limited so we got there well before check in time and were lucky enough to grab the last available space, right in front of the hotel reception. Just a word of warning though, the parking spaces are laid out very close to each other so aren't the easiest to maneuver into. I was slightly concerned for my car but the dash cam was watching things for me and didn't send any alerts thankfully.||The hotel it's self and the rooms are amazing, we were in 26 which is the ground floor extension at the back, so just a few steps from the restaurant and terrace. Great room but you don't get any views across Bath like you would from the upper hotel rooms, just so you know.||In general, we absolutely loved the hotel, decor, staff were brilliant and location. The only downside was that the evening menu was extremely expensive for the quality provided, our meal for two was £173.00 with one bottle of wine, one cognac and one dessert so we had a slight regret that we didn't eat at a restaurant in Bath, but that is our fault, not the Hotel's.

Hotel is cute and eclectic and location is walkable to most everything. Front desk staff (Doug) was very friendly and welcoming. Now for the not so good stuff. Hotel lobby furniture is very worn and need of a refresh. Hotel is very small. We booked an Abbey King Room and the room is so small that we could lay down on the floor only one suitcase at a time. I have never stayed in such a small room. No where to move about. If you are looking for luxury this is not it. Room cost us $400US per night so we definitely expected more. We would not stay here again. I’m sorry to say this as others gave it such good reviews so that is why we booked it but obviously they had a much better room experience.

Came to bath to celebrate my partners 40th Birthday. Hotel is beautiful & couldn't fault the staff. Food & drink excellent. The room had small issues. Bathroom fan, weren't working, non dimmable bulbs placed in dimmable switches, lights where flashing at times. Had to move kettle/coffee machines to plugs they could be plugged in. Fridge wasn't working member of staff looked but couldn't fix it. The bar staff provided us with ice buckets to keep out water cold during the heatwave. But all the staff there are a credit to the hotel.

We stayed recently for a two night break and had the most wonderful time
The hotel, the location and our room was stunning, the decor thoughout is just fantastic, eclectic and really special. The room we stayed in was beautiful, and bedding was gorgeous which I always think is so important. The service, the employed colleagues and the food were exceptional, little touches such as the treats available were very special, along with the shortbread and bottled water for your homeward bound journey 🙌🏻. We can’t wait to return. Keep doing exactly what you are doing. Thanks for an amazing stay
The only, and, this is a small minor is my disappointment that you charge £20 per night for parking in your private hotel car park. It should be included.

Really nice touches at this hotel - Attention to detail really stands out that makes the guest experience that little bit better than some places. (Little things like the courtesy call a few days before to inform us of potential traffic due to a concert, also the availability of real milk and sweets) Great room - very comfortable. Service was excellent and all staff were friendly - Would definitely recommend this hotel!

The location was really good, but a parking charge of £20 for the night was very unexpected.
The room as a whole was good, but it needs a little work on it, a lock of paint, a different toilet roll holder, that actually fits.
The quirkiness of the place was great, milk in the fridge in the lounge, snacks (that could be restocked more ) was a lovely touch. All in all a nice place very clean, but little thoughts. Could make it great.
