Me and my husband stayed here 14th June as we were attending the Robbie Williams gig in Bath and was ideally located - only half hour walk to The Royal Crescent. We booked the superior double room with A/C. The room was quite tired looking, the bathroom in need of a total refit … the shower leaked terribly. The air con barely worked at all .. the unit is very old and just not worth bothering with. The bed was reasonably comfortable but as it was so stuffy in the room even though there was a fan provided - Obviously to make up for the inept air con I did not sleep well. |Breakfast was adequate enough. |We knew the cost of the stay had been inflated because of the gig as did all hotels in Bath that weekend - all taking advantage!! However the housekeeper who settled our bill was shocked to see it had doubled!!|We stayed at a guesthouse literally opposite in 2022 to attend another concert and this offered far better value for money - unfortunately they were fully booked! |The parking here is a shambles. They offer onsite parking but the car park itself is limited forcing guests to park on the driveway. My car was hemmed in by other vehicles. It took a total of 10 minutes to negotiate in reverse the precarious manoeuvre with my husband guiding me back despite my car having sensors and camera. If I had been a single guest I would not have been able to negotiate this on my own without causing damage to my car or others. |We will not be staying here again.

Our stay at Oldfields House was outstanding we were shown our room then offered another with a stunning four post bed, which we settled into quite quickly. The staff on check in were amazing and fixed us up promptly and courteously. Breakfast was delicious and filling and our coffee was perfect.

Perfect b&b for us, we arrived early but our room was ready so we got the key then left the car & walked into Bath city centre, just a short 10-15 minute walk (on an incline coming back).|Every staff member we encountered was friendly & helpful.|The house is beautiful, with a lovely lounge, with bar and breakfast room overlooking the garden. |Our bed was extremely comfy and the blackout curtains were superb. Although our room was on the main road you were not disturbed by traffic noise due to the extra glazing.|Complimentary tea, coffee, water & biscuits in the room as well as some toiletry items.|Lovely big bath towels & our room had a jacuzzi bath, but we just used the shower.|The bathroom is a little tired in places, but serves the purpose and a good size.|Our room had a TV, aircon, wardrobe and nice chairs to sit, which is always a bonus.|Breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit salad, cereals, pastries, juice, lemon water, coffee/tea & cooked options - we tried the full English & eggs Benedict.|We didn't visit the bar in the evening but the lounge is a cosy relaxing space.||Great value for money!

Location is good however some may think it awkward to enter & leave due to angle of entrance & road & challenging car park .|Room was very clean & bed/pillows very comfortable. We had a few glitches with the room , cracked washbasin very slow draining of plug in sink & no light on mirror in bathroom . Curtain had come off a hook letting in daylight as couldn’t close properly & panel was partially off radiator. Reported to Manager in charge, albeit on Sunday only radiator panel sorted & they knew about washbasin being cracked . ||Alexandra & Bianca & the rest of the team were friendly & informative about the area & the local amenities . ||Breakfast was plentiful , exceptional quality , well cooked & flavour some.

We had an amazing stay at Oldfields House! The service from the staff was brilliant. Communication before arrival was great, helping to arrange a bottle of bubbles to be left in the room as a surprise for my partner’s birthday and allowed us to check in early. When we arrived, we were surprised by balloons and bunting in the room, which was a thoughtful touch and made the occasion even more special. The room itself was clean, with a comfy bed, a selection of hot drinks by the kettle, a TV, and a lovely view. Breakfast was excellent, with generous portions and good vegetarian options. The bar was also had a good selection and reasonable prices. The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk into town. On our last day, they kindly let us leave our bags after checkout. Overall, our stay was brilliant, and the extra effort from the staff made my partner’s birthday memorable. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful stay. The house is as pretty as it appears online and the staff are absolutely lovely. Good value for money. I also like where it is located. It’s a little out of the city centre so you get to see the beautiful neighbourhood. I will definitely recommend.

Loved this hotel, we stayed here when we went to see Robbie. It was well priced and a nice comfortable room with character. The member of staff who booked us in and out was very friendly and gave us a few tips of where to go and directions. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again if we’re ever in Bath. Thank you very much, great time.

Beautiful old building full of charm. We had a room with a four poster bed and a balcony very clean and well equipped. The receptionist was very helpful and showed us to our room. Unfortunately it was very noisy in the house at night not sure if it was other guests, but there was lots of banging. Great location for Bath Center easy 15 minute walk.
