Lovely location and straightforward access into bath. A nice quiet countryside with stunning relaxing views. Only thing is the buses come every hour so be sure to plan your travels well. Nice staff who are very polite . The rooms need updating. Beds were not comfortable . Please change the mattresses . I didn’t sleep well and left with back pains. Tasty breakfast. Not so tasty dinner. But overall a decent place to stay. This is my honest review.

Had an overnight stay,room was basic but clean and maybe a little dated and shower not the best but adequate.
Breakfast was good lots of choice.
Bar staff excellent and very friendly as was receptionist.
Would stay again.

Great quirky hotel I’ve been coming to since January with work. |Always made welcome. Beds are comfy and bedrooms are spacious spotlessly clean. There is a lovely drawing room, bar area and dining area. The grounds are beautiful with stunning scenic views of the rolling hills. |Chris Night Manager of the bar , is amazing , he knows what drink you had from the night before , recommends what to eat off the menu too. |Ignis ,barman always very polite and suggests what drinks to try. Always smiling. |James is a very polite young man who brings your food to the bar area and works behind the bar too. Lovely chatty man. |Caitlin young lady who works at breakfast , nothing is any trouble and goes to get warm milk for my weetabix .. she must have got fed up with me keep asking. |Maria, George and Eleftherios are such warm helpful receptionists. They make the checking in a seamless experience. They make sure you are happy with everything and to let them know if there is any problems. ||All in all this is a great hotel to stay. |No it’s not in Bath but not far 20 mins drive. |But a great spot for exploring and great for a quiet relaxing retreat.

I arrived Saturday evening for a work trip, check in was very informative which made me feel at ease, food is fantastic. Having room service was fantastic after a 12 hour shift. |Chris behind the bar was a brilliant bar tender nothing was too much trouble for him service with a smile goes a very long way after a busy day working..|The hotel itself is very dated but that didn’t bother me, the beds were extremely comfortable too. |Overall a great stay. Thankyou for your service

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, superb comfortable beds, incredible meals and staff who are always keen to help and resolve problems such as us not being able to get the wifi, a call to reception about it had Milan knocking on our door 2 minutes later! A special mention has to go to the “lar” Chris from Liverpool who expertly ran the bar and had a smile and a joke every night, he was incredibly friendly and brightened our evenings. The only criticism is the hotel decor is a bit tired, but the service more than made up for it.

This hotel is located around a 15 minute drive outside of the city centre, however we absolutely loved that. Out on the hill, beautiful scenery around you, it was a great place. We were most impressed though by the service, we had Chris as our bar tender during our stay and he really looked after us, he really made our trip all the more enjoyable.

Looks lovely on the outside but very dated and tired interior. We were allocated a very small room overlooking the service area and bins at the back on a very hot day when you want to keep windows open overnight but can't due to the noise. Not the best way to drum up future custom as we won't be going back, you get a much better room for half the price at Premier Inn.|Breakfast was fine on a par with a Premier Inn brakfast just a bit more expensive.

Outside is lovely! The hotel it perfectly fine but the beds are awful! Very cheap soft mattresses both of us hardly slept and had sore backs in the morning! ||Staff are either silent, Rude, or totally over the top. ||Breakfast is perfect very good quality
