We visited the Crockstead Farm Hotel for a family get together on a Sunday lunchtime. There were approximately 25 of us, all coming from different directions and our party ranged in age from 6 to 84 years!! We enjoyed drinks at the bar and then a finger buffet in a private room.||The Hotel was perfect for us. There were pretty outside areas including a pond with ducks and peacocks wandering around. The private dining room was pretty with lovely large circular tables. The buffet was plentiful and suited our varied tastes. We enjoyed some amazing chocolate brownies and gateaux for desert.||The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. It was also good value for money.||Everyone was delighted. We would happily return again and recommend to others.

I stopped a few nights and found it a pleasant stay. ||I stopped in Room 1 which appeared to have been recently refurbished. Room was clean and bathroom was good and clean except for shower control and head that could do with a good scrub.||Tea, coffee and biscuits in room and small TV. A quiet rural location and far enough from the main road to be almost silent at night - great!||Staff were very pleasant and arranged a breakfast earlier at 7:15 on request which were very tasty, the evening meals were good too.||There was lots of easy parking, though the bottom corner of the car park was flooded, but it was very very wet!||Nice to see the friendly peacocks in the grounds, and lots of equestrian activity in the vicinity of the hotel too.||I would stay again.

We have just come back from a 2 night stay here, due to a family wedding in Uckfield, and we thought what a lovely place it was on arrival, location is beautiful, with peacocks walking around the place, some ducks & we saw some beautiful horses too ... the only negative thing we'd say is the rooms desperately need some tlc, ours was ok, room 2, but needs attention, especially the bathroom! However, this was our only criticism, some of the staff were lovely, big shout out to Ross, who couldn't have done more for us and it was much appreciated, thank you! |It is worth a visit, I'd just suggest to the owners to consider renovating the rooms a bit.

We've been to the Crockstead Farm Hotel in previous years but in an evening. This time our volunteers went lunch-time.|We had a lovely room just the right size for 24 people.|There was an excellent choice on the menu of around 4 different meals for each course. We had the 3-course menu and I chose for starter the goat's cheese tart. It was fresh tasting but had a bit too much pastry. The turkey dinner with all the trimmings was excellent. Considering it was catering on a larger scale it tasted home-cooked and was well presented. Lemon posset with shortbread for pud was lemony and creamy. |We had a great time and I would recommend the hotel for group events.

Absolutely beautiful & quiet surroundings. Peacocks wondering around freely. Horses being taken for a walk all whilst we were having breakfast. Food was lovely too. Definitely recommend if you're looking to be in a natural setting & wanting to feel totally relaxed.

We come back here every year on cricket tour and its one of the nicest social accommodations I've ever stated in. There are lots of rooms, including suits, to choose from, with a fantastic breakfast included. The bar area is very pleasant and Ross and his staff will do anything to make your stay perfect. A must visit.

I was invited to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were in the barn which was tastefully decorated. We sat around round tables. The staff was attentive and helpful. Outside, there is a big yard useful for summer parties and a pond with ducks at the side of the main building. A very picturesque setting.

We were a party of 7 adults and 5 children using 2 main rooms and a separate self contained suite of 3 rooms and lounge area. Disappointing was how I rate it our room which was supposedly one it’s best was grubby the bathroom was disgusting black mould everywhere and the Lino was not secured trapping me in the bathroom. The hotels checkout time is 10 am very early for a wedding/party type hotel. Therefore very cross that our suite at 1600 hours was still not cleaned even though they checked the guests in it took till 1730 till they finished it. We were told suite had a fridge and also a microwave there was not.. on complaint they produced the cleaners fridge but it turned out to be a freezer so we got exploding soft drinks and frozen children’s food. Would not stay again and prices are as high as other much better quality hotels in the area. Breakfast was a disaster one waiter who was not ready at 0900 when service should have started at 0730 his excuse was he had worked late last night! So what.|||||||||| suite of
