My daughter was married in The Royal George Hotel on Sat 17th May 25|From viewing the hotel a year ago and discussing her and her fiancé's plans over the year with Gary was so easy. We were never put under pressure, we always felt welcomed when we popped in to check rooms on many occasions. On the day EVERYTHING went perfectly. Everything was taking care of all our requests were met The hotel was absolutely stunning. All members of staff were very helpful and attentive. The wedding breakfast was excellent. 5* food cooked perfectly. Great buffet at night. I can honestly say everyone said it was a fantastic wedding and thats all parents of the bride wants to here after a year of preparing. |Thank you GARY for making our daughter and son in laws!! 😬 wedding the best day ever. Also i would like to thank the lady serving at breakfast, she was super friendly and accommodating.

An excellent High Tea yet again at The Royal George. Served with tea/ coffee, toast and meringues/ scones and cream. An incredible choice of main courses from roast of the day, fish & chips, macaroni cheese, salad. Everything is cooked freshly to order. It’s tremendous value for money. The staff are always friendly & attentive. Lovely views from the restaurant across the river. Well worth a visit.

A very nice hotel in a good location overlooking the river. Our room was large and well decorated with a good size ensuite. My only minor complaint was the bathroom door, which squeaked loudly and wouldn't close properly.

The reception staff we're very efficient and helpful. Our room was very warm, so I asked if they had a fan, and 30 seconds later, a fan arrived.

There was a good choice of starters, mains, and desserts available.

Although we only had 1 night there, we managed to fit in a walk along the river and a walk through the local park as well as a visit to the museum and local shopping centre. All of which were very good.

Stayed here recently & had an hassle free stay.|Room was tastefully decorated & spacious although the mattress was brick hard.|The hotel has no lift & being on the top floor I was out of breath just taking up a laptop bag & an overnighter. |Two elderly ladies in front of me were really struggling.|Eat out, so 1st sample of food was breakfast which was acceptable & reasonably fresh for a hot buffet.|It's in a great location with some good bars & restaurants within short walking distance of the hotel.|Staff were helpful & it's well worth a visit, if you don't have an abundance of luggage and a pacemaker fitted.

Our room was comfy, nicely decorated, quiet. Bed was really comfy, shower was great too.
Breakfast was hot, well cooked and staff were smiley and helpful.
What a lovely outlook. Such good value for money

What a lovely hotel excellent staff and location. Can't say a bad word about the place . Recently stayed here as was attending a wedding in Perth. Nice views at breakfast looking over the river Tay.Thank you very much for a pleasant stay. Will recommend to others.

Great position by the river. Rooms are ok. Bit dated. Lots of tartan. Food is pretty average, massive catered type stuff. Service middling. Felt I was in the middle of a training programme for the waitresses...Parking is a bit tight so come with a smaller car. Overall ok...

Whilst visiting some friends in the city, we popped into 'The Royal George' for a spot of breakfast. Thankfully, I'm pleased to report that the staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming, and the fare was absolutely excellent! Scrumptious! We'll be sure to visit again.
