Stayed here with friends for a weekend in mid December 2008 & it was great. The B&B is really clean & well appointed & the owners are lovely. Real friendly Yorkshire hospitality. The B&B is on the main street & it's an ideal location from which to see & do all the sights in & around Haworth. The steam railway where some of "The Railway Children" was filmed as just down the hill & the Bronte Pasonage museum where the Bronte family spent a good proportion of their lives is at the top of the hill. It's a quaint little village with loads of character, interesting shops, fabulous restaurants & plenty of good pubs too. An added bonus was the Christmas parade the weekend we were there, with brass bands playing carols, morris dancers, a torch procession up the main cobbled street in Haworth & vendors selling mulled wine, as well as all the Christmas lights & decorations & a carol service in the historic church. Definitely recommend Haworth & Bronte Cottage.

My husband and I stayed here from 17th - 18th October. We stayed in the Charlotte Bronte room with a four poster bed and full en-suite bathroom, very clean and well equiped with flat screen TV, hairdryer and coffee making facilities. It's only a small B&B with four rooms but the service was great and the full english breakfast was very good. The added bonus is that it is directly on the main street of Haworth. We only stayed one night but we managed to visit the Bronte Parsonage and went on the steam train as well on the Saturday before coming home. We will be back, it is in an excellent location to see all the attractions.

We booked 2 rooms for 1 night and was told one had a shower and the other a bath so I was slightly concerned as we would probably all be wanting a shower at some point. I should not have worried as the bath had a shower over it! Our room had a gorgeous view of the rolling countryside and a 4 poster bed. The bathroom was lovely and spotless and looked like it had been recently refitted. The towels were thick and absorbent. The bedding was gorgeous. The bed was a bit bouncy and if one of you turned over the other woke up but I still slept really well! Must have been the 5 mile walk to Bronte waterfalls and the stop off at a few pubs enroute! The owners of this B & B were very welcoming and let us leave our car in their off road parking for the whole of the next day even though we checked out at 10am. ||||Breakfast was ok - only 2 types of cereal and the cooked breakfast is no good if you are a strict vegetarian as the bacon, sausage fried bread and hash browns were pre cooked and in the same bowl kept warm in a hostess trolley whilst you were ready for it. The toast was scummy and plentiful and we still could eat the scrambled egg and beans as they were served in separate pots. You needed to ask for coffee if you wanted it as only tea was served. Also no choice of eggs and no mushrooms or tomatoes. ||||Was very pleased overall and Haworth is gorgeous with some lovely quaint shops and pubs serving hand pulled ales and good food. ||||There is a guest lounge in the B & B with a TV and 2 settees. This was lovely to come back to and the settees are so comfy my friend and I nodded off.

Had a lovely stay at Bronte cottage last month. Although the owners were away, we were well looked after by their friend, Vannessa. We were made very welcome, our room was clean and comfortable, excellent bathroom and fantastic views. Had a good nights sleep and an amazing breakfast! Thanks again, can't wait for our next visit!!

Stayed here for one night while visiting Bronte Country. Owners (Marianne and husband) were extremely welcoming - they live in connected next door property. Modern terrace cottage on lower part of Haworth Main Street, close to shops, restaurants, pubs. Bronte Parsonage Museum is at top of hill. Parking at rear of property which is a big positive in a town with major parking issues. Only three bedrooms but all looked very clean and well-decorated, as was entire house. All three bedrooms en suite with flat screen TVs and coffee/tea making facilities, etc. Breakfasts were ample and cooked to order. Very reasonable price - cash up front may reflect previous disappointments.

After knocking on the door of "Bronte Cottage" we were met by an elderly couple, her name,I think ,was Maria?after being shown the bedroom,we were told the price for 3 nights B&B, agreed, & paid up front in pound notes( 215 quid),after receiving the keys the woman informed us that they were both off to Spain for a 2 week holiday that evening!!And that the woman across the road would be seeing to our breakfast etc,she was called Vannessa Smith, who, next day informed us we had paid for a light breakfast,i.e.cereal/tea & toast, after protesting,we eventually got a full one.We ran out of tea/coffee etc on the second night,& next night the milk went "lumpy"and of course no one was there to ask for anything!! Is this practice commonplace in Yorkshire?is it legal evenVery dissappointing & bad show folks!!
