It’s fine for one night. Our room particuarly was a “bathroom with a bed”. Short distance walk to the city center. They charge for luggage storage, if less than 2 hours it’s 2 pounds, which is cheap but not necessary. They could include that in the room rate and the visitor won’t notice. It does not have elevator. Easy check in and check out.

Excellent place to stay at a great price. The room was spotlessly clean, compfy and within 5-10 min walk into the centre. Paid £5 per day to park which was ideal. Would definitely recommend this Guest House. Owners are also lovey 😊

We wasn't expecting a lot for what we paid but we were pleasantly surprised!|It is about a 5-10 minute walk into the centre of York. Easy and convenient check-in as we were sent a code to pick up the keys. The room was big enough and clean with all the essentials. |The room got a bit hot during the night, but other than that, no complaints!

OK for somewhere to sleep. Room tiny and awful decor. Shower and toilet built in seperate cupboards in the alcoves. Shower poor, shower head didn't stay in position, so didn't really get a shower. Blind didn't close very well so let lots of light in. About 15 min walk from town. Self check in, but owner/staff there, they were nice - but spoke to me like I knew who they were and didn't introduce themselves so wasn't sure if it was some random weird guest at first. Expensive room for what it was.

This guest house is absolutely lovely close to centre of York. Our room was spotless very spacious warm and cosy. Very comfortable bed and for the price we paid you carnt fault it very quiet street never heard a thing. So would I recommend it. I sertenley would

Brilliant place to stay, should actually charge a bit more as it was a lovely room and very comfy bed

Clean b & b in a good location, within walking distance to York City centre. Great price on Booking.com Parking outside was a very reasonable £5.00. Only downside was the 10am checkout time, which is quite early compared to what we are used to. The parking also expired at 10am, so we had to move the car. The lady we dealt with also tried to charge us to put our small suitcase into a storage area. Have to say that I have never ever been charged for this before. We decided to leave the suitcase in the car. Good b & b though & would recommend 👍

I had a lovely stay. The instructions for checking in and out were clear and concise. My room was spotless, and delivered everything in the details. Parking was easy to book through the owner. The only thing I could say needs improving was the pillows which were quite flat, and the room would benefit from a light above the mirror for putting on makeup and doing hair. I will definitely be using this guest house again.
