The best host ever, Michael is a boss man. Really great accomodation and good location, just a 10 min uber into town or 15 min bus ride. The room was very spacious and we were four people sharing and we have absolutely no complaints. Included breakfast was also very nice in the morning.

If you are looking for a traditional hotel experience, this is not the place for you. If you want to be directly across the street from Anfield and love a quaint and accommodating staff ( thank you Bee) this is the place for you. The bathroom was spacious the room was large with a bunkbed and 2 twins. I would like them to upgrade the bedding and pillows but other than that we had a great stay. There were also kind enough to store our luggage so that we could pick it up after the Liverpool game. That was a super nice touch. Overall, for the price paid 85 pounds for the night is a steal. Just don't come here expecting the Ritz and you will be happy.

I was booked to stay at York Villas guest house, and was travelling nearly 300 miles and had been booked for about a month. we then had a message from the hotel on the day of our stay at 8:30 in the morning once we had already left home saying they had to cancel our booking. They then refused too refund us. We are still yet to have a refund and haven't been able to get hold of them. Thought it was too good to be true. DONT BOOK HERE.

We stayed over for the night, having our check in made so easy by receiving a text a few hours with instructions before checking in allowed made it smooth for us after travelling a few hours. Dean made our stay the best possible by ensuring we had everything we needed. We did the tour of the stadium the following day which meant we were in the perfect location with it being across the road!

Our stay here was very last minute, booked literally the day before we were due to visit and the lovely owner was more than happy to fit us in. We arrived late in the evening and already had instructions to enter the room so no need for owners presence at that time of night, seriously some of the reviews complain about having to enter themselves, despite having key instructions, does mummy still hold your hand to bed guys The room itself was huge, managed to fit babies pram in and wheel him around the room to sleep. The beds were made up lovely, all seemed clean to me, little bits here and there that need some filler or minor repairs but nothing I would say would affect anyone's sleep or experience, besides these alterations and repairs cost money and the owners are booking you a room at a seriously low price so surely you can't be too critical unless you wish to pay more for your room? Go figure! Equipped with mugs, kettle, a bloody fridge guys! Dont get that in the Premier Inn now do you?! towels and would you believe it!!.......soap in the bathroom 😄 yeah there's no curtains in some but they have blinds which I'm not sure if youre aware but they have a long stick on the sides and if you twist it ever so slightly..they flipping CLOSE 😱😱In the morning we were greeted by the owner Dean (nice and early may I add, as some have complained about also 🙄) he offered us breakfast straight away, we didn't have breakfast as our son was nil by mouth for an op at Alder Hey, Dean knew about our sons op and the most heartfelt words came out of his mouth....he had been out and took the time out of his day and "bought our son some treats for after his op". All this without even meeting us yet! He is the most down to earth, generous guy you will meet (as you should be able to tell with his pricing), even without the treats we could sense this person has a heart of gold. Private parking was a bonus with CCTV coverage for those of you with a stigmatic view of the area! We look forward to coming again, thank you ever so much Dean, until next time.

So me and my partner needed to stay somewhere for a night and we booked here. Upon arrival, we were greeted by what we assume were the owners to redecorating with fresh paint everywhere, aside this I spotted a broken fence at the front of the property and the “designated” smoking area has loose, massive concrete slabs that are meant to be seats which were broken which were also broken, I had also noticed all the cigarette butts on the floor and how dirty it looked, why was there no ashtrays? We were then told how to get into our room and what number we were in, we had no prior contact before this despite attempting to call them 10+ times every single call went straight to voicemail and it’s a phone number, not a landline number. we then entered the room to find a broken bed, dust in a lot of places that was very thick, little to no loo roll, and what looks like old bedding on the double bed (it was faded and did not fit the room). After a few hours, we were left with no toilet roll, and once again tried to contact them or go to reception to no avail, ended up having to order in flushable wipes due to them not answering, and the off-licence nearby not having loo roll. So after this, we decided we wanted to watch a little bit of TV. They had a Freeview antenna and the signal was shocking. It was hard to even get sound to come out the TV, let alone video, tried to contact again to ask them if they had a new one or replacement, but no answer once again. After that we obviously wanted to sleep so we did. They say they offer free breakfast. We had no contact with them after the initial getting there and were provided any options and was not given breakfast. ||Speaking of things they offer they have on their sites and on booking.com, that they offer all these different things, and we had very few of these things just to list some of what we didn’t get included that they promise.||1. No desk. |2. Seating area |3. Fan |4. Carpeted floors |5. No bins|6. No power socket near the bed, it was on the other side BEHIND the sofa |7. Clothes rack|8. Breakfast |9. Shared kitchen|10. Kitchenware |11. Tea/coffee maker|12. No additional toilet|13. Vending machine |14. Spare linen |15. There is no garden|16. No sign of CCTV inside or out||Another thing that me and my partner realised is that the key to our room unlocks the front door, therefore opens all rooms. This is a safety issue. I know some of the things I have listed seems very menial compared to others but they all add up and I find it absolutely ridiculous. That our experience was this bad. I understand buy cheap get cheap. I still think £90 for one night is a decent price and we should not have been guaranteed things that were not there. ||The broken bed was a health hazard and I don’t see how that was acceptable and how it is deemed “fit for use” by the owners. ||Per other reviews we also found holes in the walls and scuffing marks on the floor, badly tried to hide them with the double bed. ||DO NOT STAY HERE!

disgusting, do not recommend, a lot of mess, torn blankets with holes. clearly some controls must be done, something like this can't be such a mess. dirty sheets that were not changed, old towels that smelled very bad, terrible I hope those who want to stay see this review
